About SENSORYLAND

SENSORYLAND provides services and resources that may include:

• Individualized tutoring and educational support

• Handwriting instruction and foundational handwriting skills

• General parent education, coaching, and consultation

• Educational and developmental enrichment programs

• Educational resources and downloadable digital products (PDFs)

​Available services, programs, and products may change over time. Certain services may also be subject to additional policies or agreements provided at registration or before services begin.

Educational Services Disclaimer

SENSORYLAND provides educational, tutoring, enrichment, coaching, and informational services. Unless otherwise expressly stated in a separate written agreement, these services are educational in nature and are not medical or healthcare services.

SENSORYLAND does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or individualized medical advice through its educational services, website, digital products, or general educational resources.​ Information provided by SENSORYLAND should not be used as a substitute for appropriate professional healthcare services when such services are needed.

Tutoring & Educational Support

SENSORYLAND offers individualized tutoring and educational support designed around each learner's strengths, needs, and learning style.

​

Tutoring may include handwriting instruction in areas such as letter formation, letter sizing, spacing, pencil grasp, pencil control, handwriting legibility, and other foundational handwriting skills. Instruction may incorporate individualized, sensory-informed, and multisensory educational approaches.

​

Tutoring services are educational in nature. Tutoring availability, scheduling, location, frequency, fees, and other service-specific policies will be communicated before services begin.​ SENSORYLAND does not guarantee a particular academic, handwriting, educational, developmental, or other outcome. Each learner is different, and progress may vary.

Arizona ESA & ClassWallet

Eligible Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (“ESA”) families may be able to use ESA funds for qualifying SENSORYLAND tutoring services through ClassWallet.​ Eligibility for ESA funding, availability of ESA funds, and approval or processing of an ESA payment are determined by the applicable ESA program and/or payment administrator and are not guaranteed by SENSORYLAND.

​

Parents and guardians are responsible for completing required ESA or ClassWallet steps and for ensuring that requested services comply with applicable ESA program requirements.​ SENSORYLAND may provide invoices or other documentation reasonably necessary for payment processing. Additional payment, invoicing, cancellation, or scheduling policies may be provided before tutoring services begin.

​

Parent & Guardian Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase products or services through SENSORYLAND. Services involving a minor must be purchased or authorized by the child's parent or legal guardian.

​

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information requested in connection with services and for informing SENSORYLAND of known allergies, medical restrictions, safety concerns, or other information reasonably requested for safe participation.​ Parents and guardians remain responsible for determining whether an activity or educational service is appropriate for their child and for obtaining appropriate professional guidance when needed.

Program Participation & Safety

Some SENSORYLAND activities may involve movement, play, sensory materials, handwriting activities, fine-motor activities, or other age-appropriate educational experiences.​ SENSORYLAND may modify, pause, or discontinue an activity when reasonably necessary for safety or program appropriateness.​ Participation in SENSORYLAND services does not guarantee any particular academic, developmental, behavioral, handwriting, sensory, or other outcome.

Parent Education, Coaching & Enrichment

SENSORYLAND may provide parent education, coaching, consultation, educational programs, and enrichment programs intended to provide general education, strategies, resources, activities, and support.

​

Topics may include areas such as play, routines, sensory experiences, handwriting, fine-motor activities, movement, participation, learning, or general child development.​ These services are educational and informational and should not be interpreted as individualized medical advice or treatment.

​

General Inquiry Calls

SENSORYLAND may offer a complimentary General Inquiry Call to help families learn about available services and determine whether SENSORYLAND's offerings may be appropriate for their needs. A General Inquiry Call is informational only and does not guarantee enrollment, availability, or acceptance into a SENSORYLAND program or service.

Unless otherwise stated, one complimentary 15-minute General Inquiry Call is available per household or child. SENSORYLAND may decline or cancel duplicate registrations intended to obtain additional complimentary calls.

​

Digital Products & Educational Resources

SENSORYLAND may offer downloadable PDFs, educational guides, worksheets, activity ideas, and other digital or informational resources.

​

Digital products and resources are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They may include information or activities related to child development, play, sensory experiences, fine-motor activities, handwriting, movement, routines, learning, or family participation. Parents and caregivers are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for their child and for providing appropriate supervision. Unless otherwise stated, downloadable digital products are final sale and non-refundable once purchased or accessed, except where otherwise required by law.​ Digital products are licensed to the purchaser for personal, non-commercial use only. They may not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, resold, uploaded, or otherwise made available to others without prior written permission from SENSORYLAND.

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Payment is due according to the terms communicated when purchasing or registering for a product, program, or service. Fees, payment schedules, cancellation requirements, refund eligibility, and rescheduling policies may vary by service and will be communicated at registration or before services begin.

​

Unless a service-specific policy states otherwise:

• Scheduled-session cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance.

• Late cancellations and missed sessions may be forfeited and may not qualify for a refund, credit, or make-up session.

• Rescheduling is subject to availability.

• Approved payment plans must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

Service-specific policies or written agreements provided at registration will control if they differ from these general Terms.

​

No Guarantee of Results

SENSORYLAND does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from tutoring, educational programs, coaching, enrichment activities, educational resources, or digital products. Every learner and family is different. Testimonials, examples, educational goals, or descriptions of potential benefits should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees of particular results.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, SENSORYLAND's original website content, written materials, educational resources, program materials, graphics, downloads, and other original content are owned by SENSORYLAND and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Materials provided for personal use may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, sold, modified, shared, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from SENSORYLAND.

Website Use

SENSORYLAND grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use this website and its materials for lawful personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use SENSORYLAND content in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for determining whether educational activities are appropriate for their child and for providing appropriate supervision. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Right to Decline or Discontinue Services

SENSORYLAND reserves the right to decline, discontinue, or terminate participation in a service or program when reasonably necessary, including when:

• A requested service falls outside the nature or purpose of services offered by SENSORYLAND;

• A learner's or family's needs cannot appropriately be addressed through the services offered;

• Continuing participation presents a safety concern;

• SENSORYLAND or program policies are repeatedly violated;

• Required payments are not made; or

• A participant, parent, guardian, or other individual engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

Any such decision will be made in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

SENSORYLAND may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website or purchase or participation in services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the SENSORYLAND website or services at any time, subject to applicable payment, cancellation, refund, or service policies.
